A white residue on your balm formula is often called “bloom” and is usually caused by the natural crystallization of certain plant butters like shea butter or cocoa butter within the balm. This happens when exposed to temperature changes where solid fats separate and form visible white specks on the surface. This will not affect the formula and is a cause of natural and organic ingredients. Beef tallow is rendered beef fat primarily composed of natural triglycerides. Due to the natural properties of tallow, texture may range from firm to creamy depending on temperature, and it may soften or melt in warm conditions. Aroma and appearance may also vary between batches. These natural variations do not affect product quality. We do not offer returns on this product.
